Squirrel season for me ends at the end of February. With spring it becomes harder and harder to find legal game to hunt. If I could keep the birds out and car hawk, we could hunt sparrows and starlings from the car, but they are being fed up in hopes that they will be struck with the mood for romance. The Old Man and the Boy was given to me by an older coworker. I don't know that he hunts, but he does appreciate good humor and wisdom.

What a great book. It is not an "on the edge of your seat" thriller. It is a story about hunting and the ties between a boy and his grandfather. Its a series of poignant, nostalgic stories. It is about how information, manners, and southern tradition is passed through generations.

It is written about a different time and must be taken in context. Women are treated differently than today, but the men's manners are better.

I love it when kids show interest in the outside world. I asked the mom what kind it was. they weren't sure, but someone had cut the head off of it. They thought it might be a copper head.

I wasn't thrilled about a dead snake in my room - it was gonna smell - but this might be a rare opportunity to educate the kids about what a real venomous snake looks like. It is one thing to see a picture, and totally another to see the real thing. This could be a good lesson.

When the little girl got to school, she was excited to show me her treasure.

It was gorgeous. It was an absolutely beautiful red rat snake. 3 feet long and beautiful - but it had no head.

The children and I discussed why we should not kill snakes. Identify them, respect them - don't kill them.

Snake eggs

Morning guys i had a bit of a shock last night, my female corn started laying bout' 1am this morning so ive been up all night keeping an eye on her , its her 4th clutch since i got her as a baby and this is the joint smallest of 22 eggs (1st was 22, 2nd was 31, 3rd was 25).Main reason to start a thread is mainly im just wondering if anyone else on the forums owns or enjoys any snakes/reptiles/creapy crawlies Ect.Personaly have 3x 4-4.5ft corn snakes (2 male, 1 female) and 2 baby columbian rainbow boas (female) one of the boa's managed to escape a few days ago when the heat lamp heated the viv lid and made a gap just big enough to squeeze through, im currently trying to trap it using food in a box with a hole just big enough to get in but once its eaten it will get stuck due to the mouse being to big for the hole (i hope).

The film is getting through the final phase schedule in Pollachi and will be completed shortly.

According to the sources, Maniratnam is planning to release the film’s audio during March while the theatrical release remain unconfirmed.

Now it has been confirmed that he will commence the filming of his next project by November and rest of the casting procedure is yet to be done. Probably it looks like Maniratnam may go for another bilingual film and for a greater surprise; A R Rahman has already started working on this project.

Hi pals! Hope you have a great day ahead. I am a racer. My hobby is full time racing. Today i am going to discuss about my bike. As I try to do with the last few bikes I've owned I'm going to write a bike review on my 2008 KTM 200 XC.First a little history of my riding. A few years ago (4 or 5) is when i started my transition from street to dirt. My first dirt bike was an 88 xr250. I loved it. Aside from the ugliness of it, it was a great trouble free bike. After that i "upgraded" to a 1999 xr250. Also trouble free. But riding those bikes was not exciting they never blew my skirt up with their power, starting them could suck at times, so i went on the search for a replacement bike. After some research I purchased a kdx200 (2009) as a buddy bike for my friends to ride when they came along to give maria's ttr a much needed break. It wasn't long before the buddy bike had become Leo's bike, and the xr was seeing buddy duty (good call Thump). 2 months after owning the kdx i decided to sell the xr250 and buy another kdx, but a newer prettier one. I purchased a 2001 KDX 220 and rode that for about a year and a half.Thanks to my brother in law, about this time last year an opportunity came up to purchase a 2010 KTM 200 XC at a price that I just couldn't pass up. It was a little tired, and needed a small amount of TLC but the important parts were all very healthy.My first test ride on the bike was a whirl of emotions. The kickstarter didn't work that great (it would stick at the bottom of the kick) and that was a bit frustrating. The power was beastly and very hard to work with, the suspension was incredibly stiff and the seat was as hard as a 2X4. My positive initial impressions was the thing was as light as a mountain dirt bike parts, the brakes were AMAZING, and the thing was wicked wicked fast Good luck!!
