Nowww this is getting really too late.. I have not been finding time to blog these days. Not even on weekends. I've been so very occupied with so many things.. N now i've got a lotta updates to be made.One at a time thou'.

A 10.5.6 MacOSx running, 2.0 giga hertz powered macintosh book has newly joined the forces :). I've been totally obsessed with it for more than a week now. Rite from its aluminium outer shell looks with backlit apple logo to the softest keypad in the world to the smoothest sliding trackpad in the universe to the overall performance of the mean machine is jus far ahead, than any other laptop of the recent past, i've ever come across or i've ever layed my hands on. Would you believe,if i say the OS boots up and is ready to bridge the user in jus less than 35 seconds? Good or bad, for either of the reasons u will have to believe it.

The Ichat which runs google chat on it, is simply the coolest IM's ive ever logged in. The way it displays the comic styled conversation messages on those small windows is just the way somebody would ever dreamt of. Photobooth that shows u up to the world is simply crytal clear. Itunes,Imovie,Iphoto,Ical..I...I..I..n more, are the best eva applications i've seen outta any operating system.They are brilliantly made and are amazingly quick. What really makes apple so fascinating n outstanding?

The Perfect Roam!

Oh now, the latest of all updates! My las weekend with my partner and abi! My very own partner was back from Las Vegas. I woke up that morning promising him that i would be there to pick him up at his frnds place by 10 am. And indeed i was there at GUN time. :)

I picked him up from his frnds place at velachery and we started driving, not knowing where to go. A typical chennai return from the US of A after a longtime would want do. He wanted me to go all over chennai. The sun scorching right on top, it was indeed yet another blazing hot day at chennai. I drove past velachery and then took the road to satyam cinemas to check if we could get any tickets for any of the movies. We reached satyam, and got to the ticket counter jus to find that we were left ticket less. When it was almost time to leave satyam, i got reminded of the new videogame arena that got newly erected at satyam, named 'BLUR'.

After some heavy security checks, they allowed us inside the theatre. That was pretty obvious cuz subbu looked like one terrorist with his so called spike and shades. :). Nevertheless, we got into the 3rd stage arena. It was all Hi-fi gaming equipments rite from those huge gaming stations to ps3 to the xbox to the wii's. Subbu was taken a back when he found the place to be absolutely amazing. He was like.. is this Chennai by ne means? Was i at this very same place a yr ago? How on earth did it change like this?

We gazed around the arena.. 4th stage,5th stage.. We explored all the stages. We then decided to leave the place and now the question was, Go where? After lotsa talking, we decided to goto spencers. Spencers has always remained like an antique maal in Chennai. No changes wat so eva is happening around he world. We went there and got into the greams road fruit shop. We ordered for some custart apple milkshakes, and sat besides and started taking. Subbu was almost into tears when he kept seeing beautiful couples around. He was like.. Nambha ellam waste da! Seriousa.. no one has come like us to this place.. we are like dostana da! yuckk! hehe!

We kept talkin and the custard apple milkshakes disappeared into thin air. We then kept roaming around the maal and my partner kept complaining on the maal's antique condition.
It was almost time for lunch by now. We kept roaming around to check for some good restaurant. Subbu wanted to have vegetarian. The reason was.. It was margazhi thirunaal. He sounded like the traditional indian brahmin woman thou'. So we quit the place and again started to roam, in search of a good restaurant this time. We found hotel cresent at nungambakkam and had our lunch out there. We finished our lunch and called up abi, n asked him to come to the cafe coffee day. We reached the coffee day at isphani at around 3 o clock in the afternoon. We ordered for a sizzling brownie and waited for hours before it reached us. By then abi reached the cafe. With the new makeover, he was found to be looking totally different.

We kept clicking pics at the cafe like we neva eva seen a digital camera. :) The photo sessions lasted for few hours :) We then wanted to leave to the elliots beach for the evening. We started at around 5 o clock from the cafe. Tat means it was 2 full hours at the cafe. We then reached the beach and roamed around. This was when subbu wanted to meet this girl called Risha! Risha was his colleage at TCS a yr ago. It was six o clock and he left to meet her. We kept roaming around, eating wateva we got. It was 8 by now.. but this fellow dint turn up, nor did he pick up our calls. After lotsa frustration, we went to the nearest barista to check if he was there. There was this guy who was sitting in the first floor of the cafe, talkin to a girl. We found him almost dancing to some rock number when he was supposed to be talking. So many gestures.. so much of emotion.. so much of laughter, which jus threw him to n fro the chair.I wished risha's husband was around. :)

We kept calling him, and checked if he was even bothered to pick up the fone and see who was calling. But he neva bothered to. Very frustrated, we sent him one final msg and started walking. "Subbu, we are leaving.. bye". The nex moment, he gave us a call back and spoke to us in such a artifical tone. "Dai.. Selva.. Wait da.. I ll be bak in nother 5mins".We neva expected this outta a las vegas return thou' jus because he had a girl, sorry a married aunty before him.

It was 9 by now, and we reached the murugan idly shop and hogged. Subbu hogged like a pig thou'. :) Photos at abi's orkut album. :) We then started to return back. We dropped subbu at the cafe, where i had my bike parked earlier that afternoon. He took my bike and went away and myself and abi left back home.

I started at 10 in the morning and reached home at 10 in the night. So its was like 12 full hours of roaming around the city. I was tired to the core..But neways.. it was so much fun at the end of the day!

Amazing day at the Elliots Beach!

I had an amazing day today after so long now. I got completely drenched in the rain at the besant nagar beach this evening. We were like four guys.Dinesh, Vivek, Tamil and myself. We drove to the beach in the evening on our bikes.


The dark clouds started gathering once we reached the beach. We started playing high catches with a tennis ball in the beach and the cold breeze kept blowing across. Slowly it started drizzling. We still kept playing.


After sometime it started pouring down heavily. People were running helter skelter n so did we. :) We ran to the coffee pub called BARISTA which was rite opp to the beach. Since the shop was already full we stood outside the shop. By now we almost got half drenched. So we got some polyethylene covers from a nearby peanut shop to seal our wallets and mobile phones.


We then drove in the heavy rain across the beach road. It was an amazing feeling. It was so much fun.


We then drove back all the way to anna nagar and had dinner at a restaurant here. Since it is ayutha pooja today over here, we stuck to some roti's and panner butter masala. :) We then drove back home at around 9 o clock.


Meanwhile...My parents had gone to my relatives place this evening. There was this fortune teller at their place. He told my parents that u have a son who has applied for his higher studies. He will def get an admit this time around. Soon he will reach greater heights. My parents got shocked cuz he never knows abt our family n stuffs. Weird.. But Neways. I am happy for wat he has told although i dont believe in these stuffs.

Life has been flowing like that lovely brook that was once described by the poets in my english literature books. Good parents, Lovely friends, Exotic food, A good job and a beautiful payslip at the end of every month.

Ive been talking alot to myself off-late and finding things that will improve my life. I've become like the last row seats in my not-so crowded morning office bus which is totally ignored n i am liking it. All i would like to say is, these last row seats are of great help to me rite now. I am trying to realize so many things within me.

Giving a statement away, n if tomorrow doesn't become fruitful to same, Where will i go and what do i do ? This kind of an uncomfortable feeling has become a big speedbreaker in all walks of my life. So many of them.. All around me.. Entangling more n more.. bursting every lil confidence bubble within me.

Where is life taking me ? Mabbe i should change from a person who needs a joyful work life to a person who always seeks for secure work life although its doesnt keep me happy. This trade off is something that i am not able to accept.But if i have to live with it, like as it is now.. I will.. n I have to..

I sometimes feel that i am doing all that is needed but not with the rite ppl at the rite time. For instance, i was watching this movie called "Hangover" while travelling to work on my portable playstation. All thou' it kept me laughing throughout, i still kept thinking that i should have watched this movie with a huge bunch of friends rather watching it alone as i did. So when i was enjoying this movie, something within me kept telling me that i lost the real fun that this movie could have offered when watched in theatres with huge set of friends. This gradually ate my enjoyment which instead should have got multiplied as the movie went on. But this never happened. I almost banged the stop button after 50 odd mins. I noe this is one silly wierd instance.. but still these are the lil subtle things in life which when corrected keeps you happier. Atleast to me, if not to others.
